These Guidelines are designed for an 18+ community service and must be implemented together with RaizHub's Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, reporting tools, moderation systems and Online Safety Act compliance programme.
RaizHub exists to help people find meaningful community through roots, current city, language, culture, shared interests and real-world participation. These Community Guidelines explain the standards that apply to everyone using RaizHub, including profiles, posts, comments, reactions, direct messages, community chats, communities, events, tickets, business listings, advertisements, promoted content and any other user-generated activity.
The Guidelines form part of the RaizHub Terms of Service. They apply to public and private areas of the Services. Private messages are not exempt from these rules merely because they are private.
1. Our Community Principles
Belong without demeaning others. Celebrate identity, culture and heritage without treating other people as less worthy, less human or unsafe.
Connect with consent. A Connect request is an invitation, not an entitlement. People may accept, decline, ignore, remove or block connections.
Be authentic. Do not deceive users about your identity, affiliation, qualifications, business, event, product, service or intentions.
Protect privacy. Do not expose another person's private information, intimate material or private communications unlawfully.
Keep community activity safe. Do not use RaizHub to facilitate criminal, fraudulent, exploitative, abusive or dangerous conduct.
Use disagreement responsibly. Strong opinions, political discussion and cultural debate are allowed, but threats, hate, targeted harassment and unlawful intimidation are not.
2. Scope and Context
We assess content and conduct in context. Relevant factors may include the words or media used, surrounding conversation, target, audience, intent, credible risk, newsworthiness, educational or documentary purpose, satire, artistic context, likelihood of real-world harm, and whether the conduct is repeated.
A quotation, documentary image or discussion of harmful conduct is not automatically a violation merely because it mentions prohibited behaviour. However, context will not excuse content that meaningfully promotes, coordinates, facilitates or threatens serious harm.
3. Illegal Content and Criminal Activity
Do not use RaizHub to commit, encourage, coordinate, facilitate, solicit or materially assist criminal activity.
Terrorism or support for proscribed terrorist organisations.
Child sexual exploitation or abuse.
Credible threats, stalking, coercive control, harassment or violence.
Fraud, phishing, identity theft, extortion, sextortion or scams.
Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labour or other exploitation.
Intimate-image abuse, voyeurism, cyberflashing or unlawful sexual communications.
Unlawful weapons activity, prohibited drug trafficking or other serious criminal trade.
Encouraging or assisting suicide or serious self-harm where prohibited by law.
Hate offences or conduct intended to stir up unlawful hatred.
Any other illegal content or activity that RaizHub is required to address under applicable law.
Where we become aware of content or activity that we reasonably believe is illegal or creates a serious safety risk, we may remove or restrict it promptly, preserve relevant evidence, suspend accounts and make reports to competent authorities where required or appropriate.
4. Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
RaizHub has zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation or abuse.
Do not create, upload, possess, request, share, trade, link to, describe for exploitative purposes or facilitate access to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Do not sexualise, groom, exploit, coerce or blackmail a person under 18.
Do not ask a child for sexual images, sexual acts, sexual conversation or secrecy around an exploitative relationship.
Do not use RaizHub to arrange sexual contact with a child or move grooming activity to another service.
Do not depict or simulate sexual abuse of children in a manner that is unlawful or exploitative.
RaizHub may immediately remove relevant content, permanently disable accounts, preserve evidence and make required reports concerning detected and unreported child sexual exploitation and abuse content.
5. Sexual Content, Consent and Intimate Images
Do not share or threaten to share intimate images or sexual recordings of another person without that person's clear consent.
Do not create or distribute hidden-camera sexual imagery, voyeuristic material, sexual deepfakes used for abuse, or intimate material obtained through hacking, coercion or deception.
Do not send unsolicited sexual images or videos.
Do not use sexual content to blackmail, threaten, humiliate, exploit or coerce another person.
Do not offer sexual services where doing so is unlawful or use RaizHub to facilitate sexual exploitation or trafficking.
RaizHub may also restrict or remove lawful adult sexual content where necessary to preserve the intended community character, prevent abuse, protect safety or comply with app-store or payment-provider requirements.
6. Violence, Threats and Dangerous Conduct
Do not credibly threaten to kill, injure, sexually assault, kidnap, stalk or seriously harm a person or group.
Do not organise attacks, violent retaliation, raids, intimidation campaigns or confrontations intended to cause harm.
Do not praise, celebrate or encourage real-world violence in a manner likely to contribute to harm.
Do not provide actionable instructions whose primary purpose is to enable serious violence or dangerous wrongdoing.
Graphic violence may be removed, age-restricted or limited even where shared for documentary, awareness or news purposes if the presentation creates disproportionate risk or is gratuitous.
7. Suicide, Self-Harm and Eating-Disorder Harm
Supportive discussion, lived-experience discussion, recovery content and help-seeking are allowed. RaizHub does not prohibit people from talking honestly about difficult experiences.
Do not encourage, pressure, challenge, instruct or assist another person to die by suicide or seriously self-harm.
Do not romanticise severe self-harm, promote competitive self-harm, or deliberately encourage vulnerable people to worsen their condition.
Do not provide content whose primary purpose is to facilitate suicide or serious self-injury.
Do not encourage dangerous eating-disorder behaviours, starvation, purging or other severe harmful practices in a manner likely to facilitate harm.
We may restrict distribution, provide safety friction, remove content or escalate urgent cases where the manner of presentation creates a material risk of serious harm.
8. Hate, Dehumanisation and Discrimination
RaizHub is designed around identity, roots and culture. Cultural pride is welcome. Supremacy, dehumanisation and targeted hatred are not.
Do not call for violence, exclusion, segregation or serious discrimination against people because of a protected or vulnerable characteristic.
Do not describe protected groups as animals, diseases, contaminants or inherently subhuman in a way that dehumanises them.
Do not glorify or promote hateful ideologies whose purpose is to threaten, exclude or dehumanise protected groups.
Do not target a person with serious abuse because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, caste or comparable protected status.
Discussion of discrimination, history, migration, politics, religion or identity remains allowed when it does not cross into targeted abuse, unlawful hatred or threats.
9. Harassment, Bullying and Unwanted Contact
Do not repeatedly target a person with degrading abuse, threats, humiliation, sexual harassment or unwanted contact.
Do not coordinate dogpiling, brigading, mass intimidation or targeted harassment.
Do not create new accounts or use other people to evade a block, restriction or declined connection.
Do not exploit a person's grief, disability, financial hardship, immigration status, family circumstances or other vulnerability to intimidate or humiliate them.
Do not repeatedly sexualise or proposition a person after they have rejected or ignored the contact.
Do not threaten to contact a person's employer, family, school, community or customers as a tool of coercion or retaliation.
10. Privacy, Doxxing and Private Communications
Do not publish another person's private home address, private phone number, personal email, identity documents, financial details, login credentials, precise non-public location or other highly sensitive information without lawful authority.
Do not expose private medical, family, immigration, legal or intimate information to harass, shame, stalk or endanger someone.
Do not publish private messages, recordings or screenshots in a manner that unlawfully invades privacy or meaningfully facilitates abuse.
Publicly available information may still violate these Guidelines when repackaged to threaten, stalk, intimidate or facilitate harm.
Never solicit or trade stolen personal data, passwords, authentication codes or identity documents.
11. Authenticity, Impersonation and Deceptive Identity
Do not impersonate another person, business, organiser, community, government body, charity, professional or RaizHub representative.
Do not use stolen photographs, fabricated identities or synthetic media to deceive users about who you are.
Fan, parody and commentary accounts must not materially mislead people about affiliation.
Do not falsely claim verification, licensing, professional qualifications, official endorsement, partnerships or regulatory status.
Do not misrepresent your age, identity or business role to obtain access, money, trust, sexual material or other benefit.
12. Fraud, Scams and Financial Exploitation
Do not run investment scams, romance scams, advance-fee fraud, fake job offers, fake immigration services, fake property deals, fake charities, counterfeit-ticket schemes, pyramid schemes, phishing or identity theft.
Do not fabricate emergencies, relationships, investment returns, business opportunities or community causes to induce payment.
Do not sell stolen, counterfeit or unlawfully obtained goods or services.
Do not manipulate payments, refunds, chargebacks, ticket inventory, promotion budgets or campaign metrics.
Do not request passwords, one-time security codes, full payment-card credentials or other authentication secrets from users.
We may restrict payments, promotions, listings or account functionality while fraud or financial-abuse concerns are investigated.
13. Spam, Bots and Manipulated Engagement
Do not mass-message people with unwanted commercial or repetitive content.
Do not buy, sell or fabricate likes, comments, views, Going counts, connections, reviews, followers or other engagement.
Do not operate networks of fake accounts to manipulate recommendations, reports, popularity or public opinion.
Do not use bots, scraping, automated account creation or unauthorised automation against RaizHub without written permission.
Do not coordinate false reports to silence lawful content or weaponise moderation tools.
14. Dangerous Goods, Weapons and Regulated Activity
Do not use RaizHub to sell, transfer or facilitate unlawful firearms, ammunition, explosives or prohibited weapons.
Do not facilitate unlawful controlled-drug sales or other prohibited substances.
Do not advertise products or services where sale or promotion through RaizHub would be unlawful.
Regulated businesses and professionals must comply with licensing, age restriction, consumer, advertising and sector-specific rules.
15. Intellectual Property and Creator Rights
Post only material you own, are authorised to use, or are legally entitled to share.
Do not upload pirated films, music, photographs, designs, software, books, branding or other protected material without permission or a lawful exception.
Do not remove ownership marks in order to pass another person's work off as your own.
RaizHub may remove or restrict content following a credible copyright, trade mark or other intellectual-property complaint.
16. Misinformation, Manipulated Media and Harmful Deception
RaizHub does not ban ordinary opinions, satire, debate, predictions or good-faith mistakes merely because they may be inaccurate.
Do not use fabricated or materially altered media to impersonate a real person or falsely portray them as saying or doing something in order to defraud, exploit, harass or seriously endanger them.
Do not knowingly spread false information as part of a scam, impersonation scheme, coordinated manipulation campaign or dangerous illegal activity.
Do not falsely represent emergency, public-authority or event-safety information in a way likely to create serious harm.
Where synthetic or altered media is likely to mislead users materially, RaizHub may require disclosure, label it, reduce distribution or remove it depending on context and risk.
17. Political, Religious and Civic Discussion
Political, religious and civic discussion is allowed, including robust disagreement, criticism of institutions, advocacy and discussion of controversial topics.
The normal rules against threats, targeted harassment, hate, fraud, impersonation, doxxing and unlawful manipulation still apply.
Do not impersonate an election authority, government body or official campaign.
Do not use coordinated inauthentic networks to mislead users about the source or popularity of political content.
Do not intimidate or threaten people because of lawful political participation.
18. Connections and Direct Messaging
Respect connection boundaries. A declined, ignored, cancelled or removed Connect request does not entitle you to pursue the person elsewhere on RaizHub.
Private person-to-person messaging is intended for mutually connected users, subject to safety, moderation and account restrictions.
Do not use messages for spam, scams, threats, sexual coercion, unsolicited sexual content, harassment or illegal activity.
Do not pressure a person to move to another service in order to evade RaizHub safety controls.
Do not share another user's private messages publicly to intimidate, shame or endanger them.
Blocking or removing a connection must be respected.
19. Communities
Community administrators and moderators may set additional rules, but those rules must not conflict with RaizHub's Terms, these Guidelines or applicable law.
Community roles must not be used to exploit, intimidate, discriminate unlawfully or silence reporting of safety concerns.
Member-only or private communities are still subject to RaizHub safety standards.
Do not organise harmful or illegal activity behind private-community settings.
RaizHub may remove administrators, restrict a community, archive it or close it where serious or repeated abuse occurs.
20. Events, Tickets and Real-World Safety
Event listings must accurately identify the event, date, time, venue or location, organiser, price, material restrictions and ticket status.
Do not create fake events, counterfeit tickets or knowingly sell more tickets than legitimately available.
Do not use events to facilitate violence, trafficking, exploitation, hate activity, unlawful drug sales, scams or other serious illegal conduct.
Organisers are responsible for required licences, venue permissions, security, accessibility, staffing, insurance and other legal obligations applicable to the event.
If an event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, organisers must update users promptly and comply with applicable refund/consumer obligations.
Do not falsely inflate Going counts or attendee social proof.
RaizHub can help users discover events but cannot guarantee the safety, legality or quality of every venue, organiser, performer or attendee. Users should use reasonable care when attending events or meeting people first encountered through the platform.
21. Businesses, Opportunities and Commercial Listings
Businesses and promoters must provide accurate identity, pricing and material service information.
Do not misrepresent licences, professional qualifications, insurance, expected returns, guarantees or regulatory status.
Do not advertise fraudulent investments, exploitative jobs, trafficking, counterfeit goods, unlawful services or other prohibited commercial activity.
Sponsored and promoted content must be identifiable where required and must follow the same safety standards as organic content.
Payment for promotion does not exempt content from moderation or guarantee placement, reach, sales or attendance.
22. Platform Integrity and Security
Do not attempt to hack, probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload or bypass RaizHub security systems without authorisation.
Do not distribute malware, malicious links, credential-stealing pages or tools designed to compromise users or the service.
Do not scrape private data, harvest user information or access restricted APIs without permission.
Do not exploit bugs to access accounts, private messages, payments, tickets or data that you are not authorised to access.
If you discover a security vulnerability, report it responsibly to info@raizhub.co.uk and do not exploit it.
23. What We May Do When Content Breaks the Rules
Our response depends on severity, context, risk, history, intent, legal obligations and whether a less restrictive response is sufficient.

Warning, label, age/visibility restriction, reduced recommendation, disabling comments, removal, link blocking or media restriction.
Feature-level
Temporary or permanent restriction of messaging, Connect, posting, communities, events, business listings, ticketing or promotion features.
Account-level
Warning, verification requirement, temporary suspension, long-term suspension or permanent termination.
Community/event/business-level
Remove content, remove moderators, restrict discovery, stop promotion, suspend listings, close a community/event page or block transactions.
Safety/legal
Preserve evidence, respond to lawful requests, make required reports, or contact competent authorities where legally required or appropriate.
24. Serious Violations and Immediate Action
Some violations are serious enough to justify immediate removal or permanent account action without prior warning. Examples may include:
Child sexual exploitation or abuse.
Credible threats of serious violence.
Terrorist activity or serious criminal facilitation.
Sextortion, trafficking or serious sexual exploitation.
Intimate-image abuse or other severe sexual abuse.
Serious fraud or coordinated financial exploitation.
Deliberate attempts to evade enforcement after serious violations.
Serious compromise of RaizHub systems or another user's account.
25. Reduced Distribution and Recommendation Eligibility
Not every piece of content that is unsuitable for broad recommendation will necessarily result in account suspension. RaizHub may choose not to recommend content that is low quality, repetitive, spam-like, sexually suggestive, graphic, misleading, potentially unsafe or otherwise unsuitable for broad discovery even where it is not removed.
Recommendation restrictions should be applied consistently with our Terms, safety systems and applicable law.
26. Blocking, Muting and User Control
Users may block or mute other users where the feature is available.
Blocked users must not use alternative accounts to evade the block.
RaizHub may provide controls to reduce unwanted comments, messages, Connect requests or recommendations.
Using a safety control does not waive your right to report content or conduct.
RaizHub may also apply protective restrictions to an account where necessary to reduce a credible risk of harm.
27. Reporting Content and Conduct
If you believe content, a user, message, community, event, business or promotion violates these Guidelines, use the available in-app reporting tool or contact info@raizhub.co.uk.
A useful report should, where possible, identify:
The account, content, message, community, event or listing concerned.
What happened and why you believe it violates these Guidelines.
Any relevant context, date, screenshots or evidence you are lawfully entitled to provide.
Whether there is an urgent risk to a person.
Do not submit knowingly false, malicious or coordinated reports designed merely to silence lawful disagreement.
28. Urgent Safety Matters
RaizHub is not an emergency service. If there is an immediate threat to life or physical safety, contact the appropriate emergency services or law-enforcement authority.
RaizHub may provide in-app safety information or direct users to appropriate support resources where the product and circumstances allow.
29. Appeals and Complaints
Where available and appropriate, users may appeal content or account enforcement through the in-app appeal process or by contacting info@raizhub.co.uk.
Identify the account or content affected.
Explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
Provide relevant context or evidence.
Do not create replacement accounts to evade a suspension while an appeal is pending.
After review, RaizHub may uphold, reverse or modify the original decision. The availability and form of an appeal may depend on the type of decision, applicable law and the status of the account.
30. Moderation, Automation and Human Review
RaizHub may use a combination of automated detection, technical safety signals, user reports and trained human review to enforce these Guidelines. Automated systems can make mistakes, so important or contested decisions may receive human review where appropriate and legally required.
Moderation systems should be designed and operated consistently with RaizHub's Privacy Notice and applicable data-protection obligations.
31. Preserving Freedom of Expression and Legitimate Context
RaizHub aims to enforce these Guidelines in a proportionate way. We do not intend to remove lawful content merely because it is unpopular, critical, political, satirical, culturally unfamiliar or uncomfortable.
At the same time, freedom of expression does not give users a right to threaten, exploit, harass, defraud, dox, sexually abuse or otherwise unlawfully harm others.
32. Age and Access
This version of RaizHub's rules assumes the service is intended for users aged 18 and over. Users must not misrepresent their age to obtain access.
If RaizHub later permits younger users, the service will require additional age-assurance, child-safety, privacy and content protections before that access is enabled.
33. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines to reflect changes to the product, new safety risks, legal or regulatory requirements, enforcement experience or improvements to community standards.
Where a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, website or another appropriate channel where required. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.

Pre-Publication Safety & Moderation Checklist (Internal - remove before publication if desired)
Confirm RaizHub's Online Safety Act service classification and complete/document the illegal-content risk assessment before launch.
Implement and test user reporting, blocking, muting and complaints/appeals flows appropriate to the service's risk profile and legal duties.
Ensure Terms of Service and Community Guidelines accurately describe actual moderation and enforcement systems.
Create a written moderation playbook with severity levels, evidence handling, escalation paths, response SLAs and reviewer safeguards.
Register for and operationalise any legally required child sexual exploitation and abuse reporting route applicable to a regulated user-to-user service.
Document procedures for illegal-content triage, credible threats, CSEA, intimate-image abuse, cyberflashing, serious self-harm facilitation, terrorism and fraud.
Confirm whether the service is genuinely inaccessible to children. If not, complete the required children's access/risk assessment and child-safety measures before launch.
Provide reviewer training on cultural context, Lusophone languages, hate, harassment, fraud, sexual abuse and safety escalation.
Put privacy safeguards around moderation access to private messages and sensitive reports; enforce least-privilege access and audit logs.
Define evidence-retention periods and legal-hold procedures consistently with the Privacy Notice.
Ensure paid promotions, events and businesses are subject to the same content/safety standards as organic content.
Create repeat-offender and enforcement-evasion controls without relying solely on device identifiers.
Test appeals for false positives and ensure serious enforcement decisions can receive human review where appropriate.
Review the final Guidelines and operational moderation system with a UK solicitor experienced in Online Safety Act, platform liability and consumer law before public launch.
